Come Whale Watching in Algoa Bay with AB Marine - a licensed Boat Based Whale and Dolphin Watching Outfit.
As a licensed operator AB Marine is authorised to approach whales and dolphins to within 50 metres - all other vessels must stay a minimum of 300 metres away from Whales and Dolphins and must take avoiding action at all times.
Common Whale Types in Algoa Bay include:
Brydes Whales - all year round
The Southern Hemisphere's greatest fish migration takes place from February to July each year.
Millions of Sardines run up the coast from Algoa Bay to Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Thousands of predating dolphins, whales and sharks follow this feast up the coast as hundreds of thousands of birds feast from above.
